The SDSC Variety Club is extending an invitation for new
members. The Variety Club
meets Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. The group specializes in the discussion of current events,
travel, medical issues and many other topics of interest.
The 1st week of the month consists of mainly
discussion. The 2nd
week of the month features a speaker or another discussion.
On the 3rd week of the month, the group watches a
movie. The group reserves
lunch at different restaurants on the 4th Wednesday of the
month. If there are 5
Wednesdays, the group does not meet the final week.
The dues are $24/year ($2/month).
The money is used towards treating people on their birthdays, and
partially covering the annual “Mystery Trip.”
The group does not hold regular meetings in the Summer, however,
they will still meet for lunch on the fourth Wednesday. Please feel free
to join-all are welcome!
